Video Ads Bootcamp teaches students how to use the same traits of virality that work for entertaining content, and apply them to the world of advertising in order to create compelling, profitable ads.

My roles in creating this course:
Lead writer: My time at Jumpcut put me in the perfect position to write this course since I had quite a few video ads under my belt. I combined my CEO’s experience with mine to create a detailed walkthrough on how exactly we’ve written & produced our own ads, as well as analyses of a wide array of work that wasn’t our own. By the end of the course, students have the framework necessary to create a wide variety of ad styles, as well as how to actually set up their campaigns on Facebook and YouTube.
Creative director: I managed every part of the creative process, including: writing the visuals into the script, creating and enforcing a design style guide, conceptualizing our set, and managing our post-production team of video editors, motion graphics artists, and graphic designers.
Launch manager: I created a product launch timeline that our engineering, production, marketing and operations team used to stay on track. I also created the full marketing funnel needed to share this course with the world. This included writing the pre-launch video content, email marketing funnel, sales page copy, and video sales letter. (For more info on my marketing experience, please see my marketing projects!)
