My roles in marketing:
Copywriter/manager: I created some parts of the funnel, and managed a junior copywriter to create other parts:
Email sequence. I managed a junior copywriter to create the prelaunch, launch, and followup sequence for this course. It included topics like:
How Bird became the fastest company to hit a $1 billion valuation
How one YouTube video brought in $478,000
A kid who got 3.6 million retweets about chicken nuggets
Video sales letter script. I wrote this script around the concept that virality is not about luck. If you study it (or create it) enough, you’ll find there are patterns and formulas you can repeat for yourself.
Sales page. I managed a junior copywriter to create a page featuring the video sales letter, supported by FAQ’s and benefits of the course.
Designer/manager: I managed a designer to create all the assets for this launch: graphics, sales page, thumbnails, etc.
Launch manager: I created and enforced a product launch timeline for our engineering, production, marketing, and operations team.
